I had an very nice stay at Fort Bazaar! The atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming, and the hotel’s design beautifully blends modern decor with historical charm. The location couldn’t be better for exploring Galle Fort, although the noise from the restaurant could be a bit distracting at times. Overall, my experience was really good.

Dining was really good, with a fantastic a la carte breakfast and delicious dinner options. The eggs benedict I had was fantastic, and I loved the fruit platters. The outside seating added a nice touch to the dining experience.

While the hotel doesn’t have a pool, there’s an arrangement with a nearby hotel that does, which was a great perk! The spa services I tried were relaxing and reasonably priced. I also enjoyed complimentary afternoon tea and happy hour in the bar.

My stay at the Fort Bazaar was near perfect. The rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated, but I did miss having a swimming pool on-site. The service from the staff was exceptionally friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my four nights there. The location made it easy to explore Galle Fort, which was a plus. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time, although dining could improve further.

My stay at Fort Bazaar was truly good. The hotel merges contemporary comfort with its heritage roots beautifully. although the lack of an alcohol license made it a bit tricky for evening enjoyment. The breakfasts were a highlight, with a fantastic variety that kept me satisfied each morning. While the room was lovely and well-designed, the absence of a swimming pool was noticeable, especially after long days exploring Galle.

I had a pleasant stay at Fort Bazaar, thanks to its perfect location near shops and the beach. The food was fantastic, especially the delicious burger I enjoyed. However, I was a bit disappointed that I had to check out at 11 PM after only six hours at the hotel and ended up missing breakfast, with only a 15% discount on dinner as a consolation.
